KBH S Tøjbytte
11. august 2019 @ 11:30 - 15:00
(English below)
KONCEPT
PRAKTISK
✓ Mulighed for at prøve tøj

THE CONCEPT
The concept is that everyone brings whatever clothes they want to exchange/get rid of.
Then, you can either have a small area, where you keep your “special” clothes that you want to exchange for something else, or you can put it in the “treasure area”, where anyone can hunt without exchanging it for something else.
WHO’S INVITED?
Everyone! Old, young, children, people with clothes to exchange, people without clothes to exchange (you can hunt for treasure in the “treasure area”).
WHAT CLOTHES SHOULD I BRING?
All clothes (and shoes, purses/bags, jewellery, belts, jackets/coats, etc). Even if you don’t think it’s the best looking or coolest, it may just be what someone else is looking for: “One man’s trash is another man’s treasure”.
WHAT ABOUT THE CLOTHES THAT ARE LEFT OVER?
All the clothes that are not going home with someone will be donated to second hand shops.
ALL THE PRACTICALITIES
✓ It will be possible to try on the clothes
✓ There will be a mirror, so you can see how great you look in your new clothes
✓ It will be possible to buy snacks
✓ It will be possible to buy drinks
CONSUMPTION AND OVERCONSUMPTION is widely debated in public – and rightly so. We buy and throw away like never before; food, toys, electronics, kitchenware, beauty products, and not least CLOTHES. At the clothing exchange we want to meet this problem head on and make sure that all the clothes at the back of all our closets, or worse yet the ones we would otherwise throw away, can get a new home instead. We do that by EXCHANGING our CLOTHES. Do something good, do something green – join the clothing exchange in Købnerkirken. We are looking forward to seeing you – children, young people and old people.
Please bring old bags (reusable or plastic) so you have something in which to transport all your new clothes. If you have a clothes rack and/or clothes hangers you can bring, that would also be great – it will make it easier to see all the amazing clothes.
